Have you ever been in a fix regarding what software would be best for you to use when you work with digital videos, professionally? Well, the answer is simple, use the one that most of the professionals are already using to cater their needs. Final Cut Pro is the software that can certainly help you to manage all of your digital video needs. Also, you will be amazed to read that it is the software that has gain a great popularity among those big names that are working Hollywood. Sounds amazing, isn’t it? If it does sound amazing to you, then you must get it for your needs, today. It won’t disappoint you one bit as it has all the features that a professional editor would be requiring.

Final Cut Pro has also gone through a lot of changes like all other products. Now there are quite some versions which are different from those of the older days. In Final Cut Pro 3, there were some new tools introduced by the company. Color correction was one of the liked and used features as said by the most of the professionals who use it. Along with that there were some other nice features like video signal analysis; precise editing and lots of other features were embedded in it. User interface was also quite nice and simple to use. Speed was also a good along with a media manager that makes it possible to check out for the files. It was filled with nice features, however, you must be thinking as if it was so good then why would there be a need to introduce the later versions. Well, things were not all good in here as some of the people found it with limitations. There were only 13 real time effects and only one real time filter which were insufficient for most of the people who were using it for larger projects. Also, it was only for the Mac computers and the biggest of the problem that was badly needed to be tackled was the price factor. Price was really high for this kind of software. Those were some of the problems that contributed towards the introduction of the latest versions.

The latest of the Final Cut Pro is the Final Cut pro 6. It is the best out there up until now. It is based on the technique of the nonlinear editing; also, it has a support for, almost, all of the formats. That was a problem in its previous versions as there was insufficient support for the video formats. Real time effects were the problem in the previous versions but here you can enjoy as many as 150 filters. Also, the image quality can be enhanced as there is now support of Dynamic RT. Interoperability is another thing that makes it a more worthwhile than its counterparts.

As a whole, the latest version is what you should be having for you to deal with your professional need. As it is more effective and the range of features is immense and you can make all sorts of changes with the large number of editing tools.

Final Cut Pro

MacWorld has posted their review of the Final Cut Pro where they write “Final Cut Pro 6.0.1 is a solid upgrade featuring greater ease of use and enhanced workflow flexibility. For users of previous versions, the decision to upgrade will be a no-brainer, as the new ProRes and Open Format Timeline features alone are worth the price of admission. And when you factor in the new features of the suite’s other tools, especially Color, which was a $25,000 application before Apple acquired the technology, Final Cut Studio 2.0.1 is an excellent value. For Mac users considering buying the suite for the first time, Final Cut Studio 2’s speed, flexibility, price, and capabilities put it in a class by itself.”
